Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 13 Oct 2025
Today’s scripture is probably one of the most abused when it comes to marital relationships and it is very sad that many church leaders fall foul of misusing and misinterpreting this scripture by refusing to acknowledge the remaining part of the chapter to understand what the scriptures are teaching. Truly the order in a home chaired by the Holy Spirit is clearly set out and the husband is saddled with the responsibility of leading the home. No one should ever contest this but most abusers hardly show any Christlike leadership traits that is required so wives can follow without grumbling. While this doesn’t exonerate the wives from obeying, it does require them to walk closer with the Holy Spirit. What category are you in and when will you change?
