Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 11 Sept 2026

Hypocrites and prideful people abound in society and can be found almost anywhere one turns to, including church communities where it should be least expected. It is quite common to see some people who exhibit a holier than thou attitude and strutting about in defiance of common rules put in place to guide everyone in the community. They are like the Pharisees of old that Christ always rebuked for their arrogance and air of superiority over others. Does this cap fit you and do you think too much of yourself and your ability, thinking you are better than others? I implore you to come down from your high horse and put on some humility. Pride will only lead you to disgrace and shame.
