Matthew 9:13 (KJV): But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 Sept 2026

God sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ into a hostile world to be the bridge back to God for those who will accept they have missed their way because of their decent from sinful Adam and Eve, and that they desire to be reconciled with their Creator. Christ died and was buried but death could not hold Him captive because God raised Him back to life. There is no other way to be reconciled with God, except the way of Christ. Many try to earn salvation through being charitable and being moral and through various sacrifices but that will not work. You need God to put the righteousness of Christ upon you. That can only happen when you humble yourself and accept God’s gift through faith in Christ and you begin to let Christ live through you. Are you ready?
