Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 29 Aug 2026

Jehovah El-Shaddai is very compassionate and merciful, especially when it comes to those who society despises and maltreats. God will always arise to help them and deliver them from every oppression and comfort them. And the Bible lets us know that anyone who gives unto the poor and needy is lending to God and Jehovah will reward such a person. The question to you is “where do you stand?” If you are in need, are you crying to God for help or is your trust in human beings? And if you are blessed, how do you treat those who are in need? You must make pleasing God the focus of whatever you do, whether it is calling out for mercy for yourself or calling upon Jehovah to give you grace to be merciful to others.
