James 5:16 (KJV): Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 31 Aug 2026

God created humans to be interdependent, not to be loners. For that reason, Jehovah instituted the family so that nobody should ever lack community and support. It is false thinking to ever believe that one can succeed without the support of others who God has placed around us for that purpose. A tree, as the saying goes, cannot make a forest, and no person can be an island unto themselves. We all need each other, in good times and in bad, especially as followers of Christ. We owe it a duty to God to pray for one another and bear one another’s burden. And when we do, God springs to action. Will you make this a habit from today?
