Several people one comes across have little understanding why it is that only Jehovah can bring one into favour with people. Many spend endless hours devising strategies to curry favour with people who they perceive to be critical to their obtaining success in their endeavours. They do not know that only what God blesses you with is truly satisfying and that every other success comes with hidden sorrows that will emerge in the course of time and steal that initial joyful experience. I implore you to seek God’s favour rather than the favour of people, because when God grants you favour no one can resist favouring you.
