Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 02 Aug 2026

Several people engage in spiritual warfare without having a good understanding of what it entails and how frustrating and devastating it could turn out to be. The disciples of Christ were in their early days of their tutelage when they encountered a case that was beyond them. Thankfully, Master Jesus stepped in and saved the day by casting out the demons and bringing the affected young boy back to normalcy. This prompted the disciples to ask why they could not do the same and Christ gave them the answer in today’s scripture. The fact many followers of Christ do not realise is that a consistent communion with Jehovah is foundational to victory in spiritual war. Abiding in Christ in the spirit is the key to killing spiritual giants. Build up your spiritual muscles and become a giant killer. To which camp do you belong?
