Matthew 22:16 (KJV): And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any [man]: for thou regardest not the person of men.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 03 June 2026

Christ modelled for His followers a pattern of behaviour that is completely beyond reproach, so much so that even His detractors could not but acknowledge it openly. He never for once compromised or diluted His message to endear Himself to anyone. He was the truth personified, totally honest, humble, and full of compassion. Can one say the same of those who call themselves followers of Christ today? Probably not, because there are so many charlatans out there trading the truth of Christ to satisfy their lust for money, power, and glory. And the Bible warned us of this, that in the latter times, people would love themselves and jettison the doctrines of Christ. We are witnessing that now. I implore you to stand firm in the way of Christ and not allow yourself to go the way of the world.
