Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 04 Feb 2026

There is no denying it that human nature always seeks to be in control of every matter that affects us and our wellbeing. Anything short of that creates anxiety and worries that may infuriate us, send us into depression or even paralyse us. This is the case for many people in the world today, irrespective of whether they are people of faith or not. But this ought not to be so, because there is incontrovertible evidence that those who truly believe in Christ are hampered by the same lack of control over certain life issues and they remain calm and at peace, in spite of the struggles they face. Rather than focusing on their troubles, they choose to focus on Christ who is bigger than all troubles and who gives them peace. You too can start to enjoy this peace if you will allow Christ to be your Saviour and Lord.
