Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 04 Mar 2026

When one is a follower of Christ you are held to a much higher standard of acceptable behaviour by not only God but also by people of the world. Those people in society are always quick to challenge you saying, “and you call yourself a Christian?” This tells you that they are well-versed in what God expects of you, though they themselves live in defiance. Today’s scripture enjoins those who are in Christ to not even discuss those things that the people of the world do in secret because it is shameful to do so. That is how much God wants us to dissociate ourselves from the pollution that is rampant in the world. I implore you to be mindful of who you associate with and what things occupy your discussion.
