Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 05 Jan 2026

Many who observe the behaviour of churchgoers across the world often wonder why it is so difficult to find similarities with the behaviour modelled by Christ and lived by the early disciples of Christ. In my view this calls into question whether some who claim to be “born again” truly understand what that means. One wonders how many truly understand why Christ died for them and why they need to genuinely and wholeheartedly repent and forsake sin and sinning, and turn fully to Christ as Saviour and Lord. It is doubtful if many in the churches can truthfully say they are of Christ. By the fruit they produce one may be right to say that their repentance is driven by mere emotion than by true conviction of their need for salvation through Christ. That can only lead to rejection by Jehovah. You must not fall into that trap, so start doing what is right now.
