God’s Word for Today - 06 Nov 2025
Daniel 4:27 (KJV): Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 06 Nov 2025
There are many who God has placed in an exalted position to lead others, in the workplace, in the community or in the nation and in the world. Many of them realise that they owe their position to Jehovah and lead to please Him. And there are many who believe that they are in the position due to their own cunningly devised plans and by their own wisdom and strength alone. This latter group do as they please, treading paths that angels fear to walk in and they play god in the lives of those they are supposed to be leading. They devour and destroy at will because it is in their power to do so and they refuse to learn from history. Do you know any such person? You must be brave like Daniel in today’s scripture and give them wise counsel from God’s throne of grace. That’s what Jehovah expects of you.
Pray: Jehovah God, You are the Source of true wisdom, please give me wisdom, boldness and opportunity to speak truth to the powers that be. #Mok
