Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 07 Jan 2026
Judas Iscariot was driven by greed and the love of money as many people who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ today are. Though he was counted among the twelve, his behaviour and actions showed that he was not of the twelve. Though he regretted his act of betraying Christ and returned the price of betrayal, he was not truly remorseful and his subsequent suicide showed that he had not truly learned anything about the merciful God that Christ preached. There are many in churches today who have the spirit of Judas Iscariot whilst pretending to be genuine believers in Christ. You will do well to discern such cankers and expose them so they can repent and forsake their evil lifestyle and be transformed by the Holy Ghost. And if you are the one, I urge you to repent and surrender to God who is able to transform you. Do not delay.
Pray: Omniscient God, You know the heart of man and nothing can be hidden from You. Please purge me of secret sins. #Mok
