God’s Word for Today - 09 Dec 2025

Philippians 4:6 (KJV): Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 09 Dec 2025

If I were to tell you that today’s scripture is easy to live by I would be lying to you. Human beings are naturally worrisome because they love to be in control of things that affect them, so telling them to not worry about anything is counterintuitive for them and difficult to swallow. But as people who put their trust in Jehovah know, it is fruitless to worry when one can bring all the trouble to Christ the Burden-bearer and relax in the knowledge that He will take care of one. You can tell God everything that is causing you to have sleepless nights and be at peace because Jehovah will not fail you. You don’t believe me? Go ahead and try it today and Christ will certainly come through for you.

Pray: Most Gracious God, help me Lord to trust You and to always drop my burden at the foot of Christ’s cross. #Mok
