Matthew 21:32 (KJV): For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen [it], repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 09 June 2026

It is quite understandable to see genuine followers of Christ who are disturbed seeing large numbers of people flocking to places where charlatans propagate a twisted version of the gospel. And when those same people are presented with the true gospel of Christ only a very few believe and make their way right with God. That is the case with the prosperity gospel and the liberal theology gospel both of which distort the doctrines of Christ and avoid pointing people in the way of holy and righteous living. They avoid preaching about sin and its consequences, so they hinder people from being reconciled to God that they may be saved from eternal damnation in hell. I implore you to seek Christ and the gospel of salvation.

Pray: Gracious Jehovah, let me not seek comfort in false gospels but to follow Your righteous path alone. #Mok
