Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 10 Dec 2025

Many people are usually not in the habit of expressing thanks and showing gratitude, and one wonders why it seems so difficult a habit to cultivate. One major reason is that many consider their entitlement to be supported so there is no need to be thankful for receiving what is one’s own by right. This behaviour is also common in church congregations where people claim to be following in Christ’s footsteps. And it ought not to be so. Giving thanks to Jehovah on behalf of one another must be a common habit of all congregants because of the support they give one another. And you, for whom do you thank God in your prayers? Determine in your heart to make this a daily habit.
