God’s Word for Today - 15 Feb 2026
Lamentations 2:19 (KJV): Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 15 Feb 2026
Do you know that as a follower of Christ you are called to be an intercessor who stands in the gap for people, communities and for nations so that it may be well with them and the light of Christ will shine in their lives? It is unfortunate that many do not realise this and of those who do, many do not treat this assignment with the seriousness it deserves. This ought not to be so. Making intercession for others is God’s will for all those who are called by His name and no one is excused from this duty. Doing this faithfully puts you in right standing with Jehovah, sharpens you spiritually and benefits those who you intercede for. This is something the devil will do all that he knows to do to hinder you from doing but you will overcome if you let the Holy Spirit help you. Starting from today determine to arise and stand on your watch without fail and without fear.
Pray: Holy Spirit my Enabler, give me the grace and strength to intercede faithfully for Your glory. #Mok
