Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 16 Apr 2026

It is unfortunate that many people do not understand that there are circumstances when it seems that one is out of tune with the Almighty God while in fact that is not the case. An example of that was Job’s friends who falsely interpreted the calamities that befell Job to mean God was punishing Job for some secret sins, when indeed Job’s calamities had nothing to do with sin but were God’s own doing to showcase Job’s unrelenting faith, no matter what. God proved His point, exonerated Job, and restored him fully with double promotion. Are you in a situation where people mock you because they think you are out of God’s plan? Do not despair because God will never forsake you.
