Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 16 Aug 2026

Nobody should ever doubt the efficacy of prayers made from a sincere heart and in unity with fellow disciples of Christ because God has promised to hear and to answer whenever they call upon Him. It does not matter what situation is keeping the brethren in captivity, when the community of followers of Christ stand in the gap and intercede for them God will hear their cry and deliver the captives. That is Jehovah’s modus operandi, and it never fails. Is there anyone in your circle of friends who needs to be rescued from satanic detention? I implore you to rise up and put on your garment of intercession and go on the offensive against the powers of darkness. Fear not, for Christ is with you.
