Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 16 July 2026

Today’s scripture is an eye-opener for those who are careless in how they treat those who are faithfully serving God. Christ promised to never forsake His faithful followers to whom He committed the work of the Gospel. So, God sees any unfair attack of denigration of them as an affront to Yahweh Himself and God will never condone such. The consequences for such behaviour cannot be imagined. There are people who are so careless in their criticism to the extent that such criticism bothers on blaspheming Christ. Now whether intentionally or in ignorance, if you have the tendency to behave in this way, I urge you to caution yourself and desist henceforth from this dangerous practice. Learn instead to correct in love and pray for people to always do what is right and pleasing to Christ.

Pray: Merciful God, refrain my lips from undue criticism of Your children and help me to love and pray for them instead. #Mok
