Isaiah 56:7 (KJV): Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 17 Aug 2026

What a wonderful promise of assured acceptance of those who society has excluded but who God has embraced. There are many in the world today who the established church communities consider to be outcasts and are denigrated, but Jehovah is saying something completely different to them and welcoming them to enter into His presence. He will usher them in by Himself and attend to their needs and desires. I do not know what makes society look down upon you and even church communities barely tolerate you in their midst, I urge you not to despair but to look up to Christ and stand firm in trusting God to open the door unto you and embrace you. That is the promise of Jehovah, and it is forever established.
