2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV): Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 17 Dec 2025

Most people one encounters outside of the church community mostly believe that they are the masters of their achievements and destinies, and even many that one meets in the churches are not different in this belief. How very wrong they are and this cannot be any further from the truth of Christ. Those who truly know Jehovah know that we are who we are only by the grace of Christ and that, but for His mercy we would all be consumed. We do not possess any power of our own to confront the forces that seek to annihilate us, but through Christ who fights for us we conquer and overcome them. It is God who gives us the wisdom, the knowledge, the strength and the grace to ward off every challenge and scale over every obstacle to achieve our dreams.
