Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 18 Apr 2026

Those who occupy positions of privilege in society either by their wealth or position of power and influence are often thronged by people seeking one favour or the other and they pretend to love and adore the privileged. Many privileged individuals often get carried away by such show of affection and admiration to their detriment. One sees this same trend in the crowds that flock to prosperity pastors and preachers in search of blessings, instead of truthfully seeking God the Blesser. You must be wary of people who flock to you because of what you can give and not for whom you are. And you must also admire others for who they are and not what you want to benefit from them.
