Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV): The secret [things belong] unto the LORD our God: but those [things which are] revealed [belong] unto us and to our children for ever, that [we] may do all the words of this law.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 18 Mar 2026

It must be quite bemusing for anyone who is observing those who claim to be God’s children as they run to their pastors and prophets to know God’s will, when indeed God has revealed His will to humanity and given it to them in His written word – the Bible. This is what theologians call the Logos or written word. Rather than engaging deeply with what God has already revealed and is required for developing intimacy with Jehovah, people ignore the Logos and are ignorantly pursuing after that specific word for the moment that is referred to as Rhema. Why ignorant? This is because they do not understand that the Holy Spirit reveals to you that which you need as you faithfully engage with the Logos and that Rhema which you are pursuing after is always found in Logos. So, stop chasing shadows.
