Romans 14:6 (KJV): He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard [it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 19 Dec 2025

It often beats one’s imagination that many churchgoers and church groups spend valuable time focusing on matters that do not add any value to their journey of faith in Christ. And it is painful when such behaviour can be seen as being detrimental to their growth in Christ. It is important to know and understand that God values every single day and for as long as you honour Jehovah irrespective of whether you celebrate the day or not, you are on good ground. The same is true for all foods for as long as it is not food sacrificed to idols, and you give thanks to God for providing it. Such matters do not obstruct one’s eternal destiny in Christ and should not be given undue weight in your faith journey.

Pray: Everlasting God, thank You for the wisdom You give to know how to walk in Christ. Help me to not derail. #Mok
