2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV): Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 20 Sept 2026

Relationships matter to God and that is why He wired human beings to desire community. It is not God’s will for anyone to be a loner. But that people seek and enter into relationships that are pleasing unto Jehovah, be they interpersonal, social, business, or spiritual. This is especially critical for every faithful follower of Christ because whatever relationship you enter that does not glorify God is anathema and you must completely avoid such. Are you seeking a spouse? Are you looking for a business partner? Are you looking for someone to befriend? If you are in Christ, you must look for someone who is showing the fruit of the Holy Spirit and who will not cut corners to achieve personal goals, but whose focus is to glorify Christ in all things. Do not cast your lot with faith compromisers.

Pray: O Lord God, give me boldness to say no to faith compromisers and let my relationships bring You glory. #Mok
