1 John 3:10 (KJV): In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 21 Sept 2026

There are many in Christendom who go about bragging about being children of God, but whose comportment shows something completely contrary. Today’s scripture characterises such instead as children of the devil because their behaviour resembles the devil’s. The scripture expands further that anyone who does not love others is not of God. Now that the demarcating line has been firmly set, to which side do you belong? Do your character and lifestyle show any resemblance with Christ or are you more a reflection of what the devil represents? You must truthfully examine yourself, decide who you really are and stop deceiving yourself because you cannot deceive Jehovah.
