God’s Word for Today - 21 July 2026
Deuteronomy 27:18 (KJV): Cursed [be] he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 21 July 2026
Blindness, whether physical or spiritual, is nothing desirable. And those who are blind deserve compassion and support from those who are more able, can see and comprehend. Ordinarily, most people would come to the aid of anyone who is physically blind and guide them to avoid obstacles and point them in the right way. The same cannot be said for the ones who are spiritually blind, and these are very many. People who are spiritually alert and have a good understanding of God and the Gospel of Christ are often seen to be timid in guiding others in the path of righteous living. They do not seem to realise that by their timidity they are causing the blind to take the wrong path that could lead to their spiritual death. God will not excuse that behaviour, so you must never neglect your duty of care to those who need spiritual guidance. Pick up courage today and help someone who needs to understand God’s plan for humanity.
Pray: Everlasting Father, give me courage and wisdom to be a guide to the blind and to show them the way of salvation. #Mok
