1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV): There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 21 June 2026

There is no human being alive who is exempt from being tempted. One can rightly say that temptation is part and parcel of being human. So, it doesn’t matter that you belong to Christ, you are not above being tempted. In fact, the devil, and his acolytes are sure to spend extra time and effort to tempt you to the fullest extent they can. But be assured that if you remain focused on Christ and submit fully to the Holy Spirit, God will make sure that you do not fall to any temptation. Jehovah will always make a way for you to overcome every temptation for the sake of His name. And you have a part to play by staying alert, watching, and praying as Christ enjoined His followers.
