Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 22 Feb 2026

It is laughable that any sane person would expend their energy, time and resources to carve out a statue of whatever material, decorate it and begin to bow down to worship the work of their own hands. That’s simply insane, but that’s what millions all over the world do on a daily basis. It is their lifestyle. In their rebellious lifestyle they reject their Creator who alone is worthy of worship and turn to worshiping anything and anyone except Jehovah. You may be one of such people or you may know someone who fits the description, I want you to know that you are playing with fire. Whatever you prioritise above Jehovah is an idol and you are an idolater. You must turn to God in repentance and ask for forgiveness.

Pray: Merciful God, I bow down before Your Majesty in humility and ask that You have mercy and forgive me for worshiping idols. #Mok
