Finding favour and good understanding with God and people is predicated upon loving God and loving others as God loves you. Many people, including those who are following Christ, stumble at this twin requirement. They claim to love God but struggle to love fellow humans. The Bible makes us understand that it is hypocrisy to say you love God when you do not love those people around you. The love that triggers God’s favour is unconditional and from a surrendered heart. Are you seeking God’s favour? You must yield fully to the Holy Spirit and draw upon God’s grace to help you love others without conditions.
