Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 July 2026

There are many ways one can destroy a person without necessarily killing them. And many people indulge in this on a regular basis through slander, deliberate and malicious incapacitation, denial of opportunity, persistent denigrating gossip and many more. This is even more despicable when it is done for personal reward. This behaviour is contrary to God’s command to love others as you love yourself. And God is not pleased with anyone who intentionally disobeys a divine order. It does not matter that you call yourself a follower of Christ because the true mark of followership is in the diligent obedience of the Master’s desire. And your devotion to Christ becomes questionable when you indulge in such behaviour. You must examine yourself and change, if needed.
