God’s Word for Today - 23 May 2026
2 Corinthians 12:14 (KJV): Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 23 May 2026
Dogged persistence is often required to overcome stubborn obstacles to the sowing of the seed of God’s word in people who are not yet reconciled to Jehovah. Every follower of Christ is called to this duty, and they must pursue it selflessly without being a burden on those who they are trying to show the way of salvation through Christ. People forget that Christ sent his followers to make disciples. This is a task that calls for total investment of oneself and the reward is unimaginable. It is disheartening that many church folks miss this point, but you don’t have to follow their example. You can choose to do it right by listening to the Holy Spirit and following the dictates of the Bible.
Pray: Divine Spirit of God, I am willing, give me wisdom and grace to be a disciple maker. #Mok
