1 Chronicles 22:19 (KJV): Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 26 Feb 2026

Many among the followers of Christ are living in ignorance of the fact that God does not inhabit temples built with human hands. The place of His presence since the redemptive work of Christ has been the heart of those who trust in Him and have surrendered their lives to Him. He makes them the place of His habitation where His Holy Spirit dwells. You who are the redeemed of God are required to present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Jehovah. That is your reasonable service – to keep your body, the temple of Christ impeccably clean at all costs. Would you please check yourself and ensure that you are not defiling God’s temple by your lifestyle and behaviour?
