God’s Word for Today – 26 June 2026

John 1:23 (KJV): He said, I [am] the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 26 June 2026

In fulfilment of His meticulous and flawless plan for the salvation of humanity before time began, God sent John the Baptist to herald the coming of Jesus the Christ and prepare the hearts of people to receive God’s promised solution for the problem of sin. John carried out his assignment with full dedication and utmost rigour without compromise, fear, or favour and paid the ultimate price for his unflinching adherence to telling the truth to the powers that be. In continuation of that same plan of salvation Jesus Christ finished His own mission too and commissioned His followers to keep on spreading the Good News of God’s Kingdom in the world with the same fervour and boldness, even to the point of death. How well are you playing your part?

Pray: O Lord God, thank You for the power to evangelise, help me to bear fruit in winning souls. #Mok
