Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 27 Dec 2025

This story of the grateful Samaritan as told by Jesus Christ is an all time classic that illustrates in the simplest way how our response to those who come to our help in time of need, should be. We must respond with gratitude for every little help. The chap received a top-up as he was made whole, meaning every trace of leprosy disappeared completely, unlike the other nine entitled healed lepers who still bore the scars of leprosy. It is absolutely important that one gives thanks with a heart of gratitude to everyone who renders support to one in any form. And one must start with God who has reconciled humans to Himself through the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross.
