God’s Word for Today – 28 June 2026
Acts 19:9 (KJV): But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 28 June 2026
Many people often criticise the proliferation of churches and denominations that we see in the world today, and that criticism is quite often not so misplaced. In some cases, it may even be quite justified to protect and preserve the true path that Christ delivered to His faithful followers. This is what we see modelled in today’s scripture. Apostle Paul was compelled to take the protective action of separating from those who were bent on charting a different path through their unbelief and derailing the faith of others. It is okay to separate yourself from those who are preaching and practising a different Gospel from the one that Christ delivered. Be courageous and stay in the truth of Christ, no matter how challenging that may be.
Pray: Everlasting Father, purge me and empower me to dissociate from the assembly of fake believers. #Mok
