Jeremiah 16:13 (KJV): Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, [neither] ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 29 Apr 2026

God’s punishment for disobedient and rebellious children who persist in provoking Him is better imagined than experienced. It is a terrible thing for Jehovah to turn His back to anyone, more so those who have been beneficiaries of His divine grace and favour. No one wants to fall out of favour with Christ, and no one should. How does one avoid this? You must decide in your heart to never betray God’s love and mercy by fully submitting to the Holy Spirit and letting Him lead you in everything you do. That way, you eliminate the risk of falling into the devil’s trap to derail your journey of faith in Christ. Are you willing to do that?
