God’s Word for Today - 29 Dec 2025
Daniel 6:10 (KJV): Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 29 Dec 2025
The story of Daniel and his boldness in standing up for his faith in spite of threats to his life is exemplary and worthy of emulation by everyone who claims to be a follower of Christ. It is really encouraging to hear the stories of modern disciples who refuse to deny their faith in Christ in spite of horrible persecution, even to the point of being killed. That’s what it means to be a disciple of Christ. But sadly, the majority of those who claim to be Christ’s deny Him at the slightest inconvenience. And they look for all kinds of excuses to justify their denial of Christ. If you belong to this camp of fair weather believers, please know that you are only deceiving yourself and Jehovah is not pleased with this behaviour. You must make a choice today to stand firm in faith, come what may.
Pray: Benevolent God, give me the courage to stand firm and never deny my faith in Christ. #Mok
