Revelation 9:20 (KJV): And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 29 Jan 2026
Today’s scripture gives us an insight into how terribly difficult it is for someone whose conscience has been totally seared by prolonged denial and rejection of God’s truth to repent and change. This gives one an understanding of why the call for followers of Christ to relentlessly persist in intercessory prayers to break down every stronghold that the devil has erected to keep people in perpetual captivity. There are billions of people in the world today who worship anything but Jehovah and who are therefore on their way to eternal separation from God. And that’s how the devil wants it to end for such people, but you can do something about that if you are genuinely following Christ. You can invest yourself in prayer to rescue them from ending up in hell. Will you commit to that?
Pray: Faithful God, give me strength to intercede for those who are in bondage to satan that they may be saved. #Mok
