God’s Word for Today - 29 Nov 2025
Zephaniah 3:12 (KJV): I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.
Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 29 Nov 2025
Anyone who has some wisdom should ask themselves what is the reason for Jehovah to use the poor and needy in the land to teach others a valuable lesson in trust and obedience. One thing to note about these vulnerable people is that they are mostly humble, teachable and trusting. These are virtues that everyone who will walk with Christ should and must cultivate. Hence we can now understand why Jehovah will want to preserve them in the land. It is so that they could be role models for others to learn from. Others can learn from these faithful ones that you trust and obey God not for what He gives but for who He is. There are many out there who would only follow Christ if their needs are met, otherwise they will go their own way. I want you to know that your unfaithfulness will not stop God from being faithful. That’s His nature.
Pray: Faithful Jehovah, give me grace to always trust and obey You even when it is not convenient. #Mok
