Hebrews 13:15 (KJV): By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.

Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 31 Dec 2025

I love it where you see the people of God genuinely praising Jehovah out of a pure heart for who He is. The atmosphere is both electrifying and contagious at the same time. It is nearly impossible to not be spontaneously drawn into the worship and praise of God in that moment. And to know that this is made possible by the Holy Ghost who dwells in those who love Christ and are called by His name. Sadly there are also places and times where people engage in praising God but their hearts are not with God, rather they are doing it in expectation of Jehovah’s blessing only. Such folks are deceived but God is never deceived and is not carried away by such false praise. If you belong in this latter category I urge you to cease and desist henceforth. Whenever you choose to praise God, do it simply because He is God and for nothing else.
